Chloe Peterson (CEO/Principal Geophysicist)
Chloe established Natural Edge Geo Consulting in 2021 working on Alaska exploration projects for clients including Kinross, Felix Gold, Kenorland Metals, Weisman Metals, and Millrock. These projects included catchment basin analysis for soil sampling, amalgamation and QC of public and private data, GIS support, and statistical analysis of geochem data. Chloe has also worked worked with individual prospectors providing GIS and land management support. Before starting Natural Edge, Chloe worked 8 years as a Geophysicist and Lead Geophysicist for BP Exploration building large-scale 3D geologic models, QCing multi-million-dollar seismic processing projects, planning and executing wells that tested both the limits of drilling technologies and geophysical processing, and developing best-practice workflows and working with 3rd party software companies to integrate those workflows into current software. Prior to moving to Alaska, she worked at Sandia National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory as a computer programmer, 3D modeling, and GIS technician. She has a Master of Science degree in geophysics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Bachelors of Science degree in geology from the University of New Mexico.
